Baked feta pasta

This recipe has become incredibly popular, and I decided to try it without expecting much from such simple ingredients. To my surprise, my whole family loved it! Baked feta pasta is a simple dish made by roasting a block of feta cheese with cherry tomatoes in the oven. Give it a try — I'm sure you'll love it too.

First, make the sauce

Halve the tomatoes. Place the tomatoes and feta cheese in a medium baking dish. Drizzle with the olive oil and sprinkle with the dried herbs. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) for 20 minutes, or until the tomatoes burst and the feta is lightly browned.

Finally, mix everything together

Add the cooked spaghetti to the baking dish and toss until the pasta is evenly coated with the sauce. The baked feta and tomatoes will create a rich, creamy sauce.
Serve immediately, garnished with fresh basil.

Notes

  • I'm using an Italian blend of dried herbs (dried tomatoes, basil, oregano, garlic, and parsley). It adds a rich aroma and delicious flavor.
  • For extra color and flavor, increase the oven temperature to 220°C (430°F) during the last 5 minutes of baking.
