Using this site

By reading Cooking with Vi you accept these terms. If you disagree with them, please stop using the site. Cooking with Vi is a personal blog run by Viktoria from the Netherlands; contact info@cookingwithvi.com.

Recipes and your kitchen

Every recipe here has been cooked and tested in a home kitchen and is shared in good faith. But ovens differ, ingredients differ, and only you can see what is in front of you.

• Check your own food is cooked through. Times and temperatures are a guide, not a guarantee — use a thermometer for meat.
• Allergies are yours to manage. Ingredient lists describe what Viktoria used, not what is safe for you. Always read the packaging.
• Nothing here is dietary or medical advice. If you are pregnant, feeding a small child, or managing a health condition, take advice from someone qualified.

We cannot accept liability for how a dish turns out, or for illness or injury arising from following a recipe. That is not us dodging responsibility for our writing — it is that your kitchen is beyond our sight.

Copyright

The recipes, writing and photographs on this site belong to Viktoria. Photographs especially represent a great deal of work.

You may, without asking:

• cook anything here, for yourself or for others
• print a recipe for your own kitchen
• link to a recipe, or share it, including one photo alongside a clear credit and a link back

Please do not:

• republish a recipe’s full text elsewhere, including on social media
• use the photographs commercially, or without credit
• scrape the site or reuse its content to train a model without written permission

Recipe ideas themselves are not owned by anyone. Cook them, adapt them, make them your own — the words and pictures are what is protected.

Comments

Comments are read before they appear, which is why yours may not show up straight away. We remove anything abusive, spam, or off-topic, and we do not have to explain why.

What you write stays yours, but posting it gives us permission to display it on the site. Ask us and we will delete it — see the privacy policy.

Adverts and affiliate links

Adverts pay for the hosting. Some recipes also link to the equipment used, and those links go to Amazon; buying through one may earn us a small commission at no extra cost to you.

Nothing is recommended because it pays. Equipment is listed because Viktoria actually used it to cook the dish.

Availability

The site is offered as it is. We try to keep it up and accurate, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. Links to other sites are not endorsements of them.

Changes

These terms may change; the date at the top will change with them. Continuing to use the site means accepting the version then published. Dutch law applies.
